Star Wars Lightsaber Weapons

Using a lightsaber is an effective way to attack an opponent. These blades are powerful enough to cut through enemies and blast doors. They can also be used to deflect blaster bolts.

Mace Windu’s purple lightsaber

Even though Mace Windu has a purple lightsaber, it is not commonly used. It is because it was added to the canon of the Star Wars universe after the film’s release in 1977. Its significance is that it shows off Windu’s ability to use the Force’s light and dark sides.

In the prequel trilogy, Mace Windu envisioned a unique weapon that would become his signature. This blade was purple, signifying his proficiency in the Force’s light and dark sides.

While making Mace’s lightsaber purple was a clever idea, it was unrealistic. The first colour that was a popular choice for lightsabers was blue. It was because blue was associated with aggressive fighting techniques.

Darksaber

During the Old Republic, Darksaber was a lightsaber with heavy Mandalorian ties. Torre Vizsla, the first Mandalorian Jedi Knight, created it. It was also used by Darth Maul, a former Sith lord, in battle. He defeated Pre Vizsla in ritualistic combat with the weapon.

After the fall of the Republic, House Vizsla, a faction of Mandalore, stole the weapon from the Jedi and began using it for their purposes. But, first, they used it to fight against the Jedi during the Clone Wars.

The weapon was also used by a terrorist group known as Death Watch. It was eventually passed on to Sabine Wren. She used it to battle Imperial soldiers, and it was later passed on to Bo-Katan Kryze, a leader of Mandalore. It is a unique weapon with a black plasma blade. It emits a higher-pitched hum when it comes into contact with another edge.

Mandalorian iron

Whether you’re a Star Wars fan or not, you’ve probably heard of Mandalorian iron lightsabers. They are a type of armour that is highly sought after by Mandalorians. They’re surprisingly light but also extremely durable. They have been used in the Star Wars galaxy for years.

Beskar is a particular type of metal or alloy that is incredibly tough. It’s one of the few materials in the Star Wars universe that a lightsaber can’t break. It’s used to make Mandalorian armour but can also be forged into weapons.

Beskar is a rare mineral that originated on the planet Mandalore. It is used by many of the different clans of the Mandalorian people to create their armour and weapons. In addition, some of the Mandalorian’s most powerful heroes, like Tarre Vizsla, have been known to use it.

Futurama

Various versions of the Futurama lightsaber have made an appearance in the series. They are a bit of a mish-mash of many esoteric weapons, ranging from the Baton above to the more mundane Vibra-mace. The lightsaber that landed atop the Spaceballs trophy cabinet was the best.

It’s a pity that the Futurama lightsaber hasn’t found its way into the mainstream because it’s one of the most enticing weapons in the show. The hilt is available in three variations, the standard issue NNYPD Energy Baton, an empty grip capable of accepting electronics and an off-set version for the more cynical of us. In January of this year, the first batch of hilts was unveiled. The best part is that they cost a pretty penny.

Kyber crystal

Originally, Kyber Crystals were rare Force-attuned crystals. They were found on several planets in the galaxy. They grew naturally in vital Force locations and were known to produce a faint harmony. They were also warm to the touch.

A Jedi or Sith would typically use a Kyber Crystal to power a lightsaber. But there are some cases where other crystals may be used to power a lightsaber.

Some people have suggested that other gems and crystals in the Star Wars galaxy have similar connections to the Force. It could help explain why some lightsabers have been made with different colours. The most popular colours are blue and green. These colours are based on which side of the Force the lightsaber is connected to.

If the crystal is infused with the Dark Side of the Force, the crystal will turn red. Likewise, if the crystal is restored to the Light Side of the Force, the crystal will be white.
